if you called me now, baby i'd come a-running...

i'm not dead.
just in case you were wondering.

but i do deserve a severe slap on the wrist for completely forgetting about my blog over the past MONTH!!! shocking. i am still horrifically skinto. but i have managed to make a few nice and cheeky purchases over the past few months, so prepare for an unbelievably long blog to make up for my horrendous lack of updates...!

i made my first ebay purchase on saturday! strange i know, but ebay won't let me have an account until i turn 18 in july, so i had to use my dad's... sneaky! i've been wanting, for ages and ages, a brown leather quilted handbag, much the same style as a Marc Jacobs 'Stam' bag. there is a stall in a local shopping centre that sells them, but they are £30 and made of a horrible, grainy faux leather... ew. so i went ebay-hunting and found this one, which i fell in love with and happily won!

very similar, no? i am in LOVE. i can't wait for it to get here!! all for the bargain price of £13.50, when an original Stam would have set me back around £375!!!

unusual for me these days, i went shopping last week. and actually managed to buy most of what i'd been wanting in primark - unbelievable! i was looking for a pretty floral skirt after seeing one of my friends wearing a lovely one from H&M, but i didn't want the same one, obviously. and when i was wandering around primark, i found this for £13. it's very short but the skirt puffs out and has several layers underneath, but it was the buttons that i fell in love with - adorable little gold hearts!! i'm planning to wear with either a cream or a navy vest, navy tights and pretty cream heels :)

i don't know if i mentioned it on here, but for a while i've been needing new black boots, because my last comfy ones have bitten the dust and now let in every puddle i walk through. i'd seen a girl on my bus to college wearing these amazing black suede fringed boots, and as she works in topshop, i assumed they were from there. i've been hunting high and low for them for weeks. and then, on this same trip to primark, i found them. the exact same ones!! i thought that £15 was a brilliant price, but when i took them to the till i got them for £6! happy days indeed..!

excuse my blindingly white legs in the picture, can't wait for summer to get some kind of skin colour reminiscent of a human!!! i've been wearing these with pretty dresses and thick black tights. i just love the way the fringing moves when i walk, but my puppy seems to have noticed this now too. won't be wearing these when she's around..!!!

and my last primark purchase was only something little. i'm a sucker for pretty and delicate jewellery, and when i saw this bangle, i had to have it, especially for just £2. i don't like having 'real' jewellery, i panic about it and i break it too easily. for instance, the gorgeous (and highly expensive!!!) white gold and diamond necklace my ex-boyfriend bought me for christmas... i came in drunk last weekend and tried to take it off. and in the process, i broke the extremely delicate chain in several pieces. oops. so i think costume jewellery really is the only option for me while i'm so young and careless!!

and now onto more pressing matters. i will be resuming outfit posts, because i can't remember the last time i did one!! i am aiming to begin blogging again slowly, perhaps twice a week. but this won't be starting until next week, because my best friend is coming up from london tomorrow to visit me for a week, so i shan't be online for a while!!!

and also, i have just joined twitter, so follow me, i need some friends!!

bye :) xx
