- vest - primark
- skirt - gap
- stirrup leggings - topshop
so r.i.p my pretty little booties! i miss them already - i forgot i had them since august and they haven't featured in a single blog... how i wish i'd never worn them on friday!
i'm also becoming very very fond of this gap skirt, even if it is totally the wrong season and country to wear it in now! it hangs and fits so nicely, i sometimes can't believe that i only paid £4.99 for it, when a few weeks earlier it had been £35!! however, had i known that it was going to snow so heavily on friday, this outfit wouldn't have even entered my head... lord knows i was cold!!
and then saturday night i was 'working' in my uncle's pub (i.e. i sang for a few hours, took a break that lasted two hours with some lovely friends, drank one too many tequilas and then attempted to get up and sing again... i was surprised when i actually managed it!!!) this is the outfit i went with, when i was in the pub all evening, i didn't really mind that it was snowing again outside!!
- chiffon blouse - vintage
- skinny jeans - topshop
- ankle boots (not seen) - primark
- cardigan - ted baker
- vest - topshop
- skirt - primark
- leggings - topshop
- shoes - h&m
i know, i know, dolly flats are not appropriate snow-bearing shoes. but i packed them on friday, not knowing!!! i paid for it with immobile and purple toes...
and then today, i felt like i was wearing half of my wardobe at once. it was bitterly cold, so i wore two camisoles under my tunic and a shirt over the top, and two pairs of tights and a pair of socks under my jeans, plus coat and scarf and hat, and i was still freezing!!! my college outfit started out like this:
- shirt - primark
- grey tunic - forgotten!!
- belt - 'borrowed' from a friend
- bag - primark
- skinny jeans - topshop
- high heeled brogues - new look
but rapidly changed into this...
i know i said i wouldn't wear them... but it was so cold, so so so cold! hence the incredibly ugly uggs came out and served their purpose - my feet weren't wet or cold all day, but boy, did i look like i had thick ankles!!!! nb: will ONLY wear them on exceptionally challenging days like today. promise :) x

So many nice outfits here!!! I have summer skirts that I wear in winter too, it's quite nice pairing them with cosy things. The chiffon blouse looks lovely.
