this is how my heart behaves

i have a real longing for really pretty, girlie clothes at the moment! the signs were always there - i've always been an excessively girlie girl. but now it's unignorable!

the obsession started with the purchase of a large pink satin hairbow. which was followed by a big black one, with lace too. and then there was the tragedy of aforementioned floral skirt. pastel pink nail polish. rosy pink lipstick and peachy pink blusher. loose beachy hair. beads and pearls of every description. and my latest purchase, a large bangle inlaid with pink lace, so so pretty!!

and so consequently, i've been trawling the internet in search of more wonderously little-girl clothes for me. and i've decided that i've completely fallen in love with the idea of wearing a pair of these...

aren't they beautiful?? i studied ballet until i was 13 and i kept my old ballet slippers, but unfortunately for me, my damn feet have got too big for them!! so i've been hunting on ebay to find a pair exactly like these in my size, so i can dance around in them. there aren't any dancewear shops near me, so ebay is my only option!

and this was an ebay find that i have also completely fallen for, but can't afford right now... i'm devastated, because i can happily imagine dancing around a field of flowers in it, now the weather is so nice. it's not a completely unattainable dream, my bedroom view is a field of flowers..!! all i need is this...!

see what i mean? i appear to have turned into Princess Barbie overnight!! and i know it's not amazingly chic and trendy and whatever else, but aren't these blogs about us all sharing our individual inspirations? and things like these are definitely mine!! see you in the fields!
