tell me anything you want, any old lie will do...

i am currently suffering from severe disappointment. my lovely floral skirt from my last post was ready to wear on saturday night, but shock horror, when i tried it on, it was obscenely short. and therein lies the lesson: when buying clothes from cheaper stores, TRY THEM ON!!! common sense, i know, but sometimes i lack a bit in that.

so tomorrow i will be taking it back to the shop and getting my money back, so there will be a floral-shaped hole in my wardrobe. but it will be replaced with a lovely skirt i found in Tom Wolfe @ Envy that is sizing up to be a more than suitable replacement...

After going through the Envy website, i can't find a picture of it anywhere. but it is basically exactly the same as this dress from topshop, only without the top attached, obviously, and without the underskirt you can see on this dress. and it's only £20, which at the moment i think i can just about stretch to!

so maybe all's well that ends well....
