i just couldn't be bothered with dressing up all fancy today, i thought it wouldn't be worth the effort at all. i'm trying to decide on my outfit for tomorrow - it's more than likely to be cold and wet all day, but i don't really want to go into wearing jeans and uggs quite yet. and i have to go and have a chat with the station hotel manager tomorrow afternoon, about possibly singing there. that's if i have the guts to walk in and ask to see him. and lewis will be in college tomorrow, and it's all systems go with trying to suss out whether he likes me or not... wish me luck with that by the way! i'm even going as far as planning potential date outfits in my head, but i don't want to get carried away quite yet..
but for tomorrow, i'm thinking maybe just very simple and cute. depending on the weather, i might go with my beautiful cream gap skirt and a plain topshop vest, team it with some tights and my suede ankle boots and find a cardigan or something to throw on top. there's not much point dressing up for college, they're all scruffy, unwashed boys anyway! i'm going to have to do some serious tlc to my suede boots though... i bought them in a vintage shop for £3 back in feburary, cut the odd cowboy-style fringing off the sides and wore them with everything. i really mean everything. but i got them wet in the rain in august (rain in august??!!) and put them straight into a carrier bag in my suitcase to take back to london with me. when i took them out of the suitcase, they smelled very very damp. i nearly threw them away but i found i just didn't have the heart...! maybe i'll just whoosh them with the febreze and hope for the best!!
