it's been another one. oh dear. i spent the morning curled up on the sofa read some more 'tess..' and ordering my sheet music online. i then spent this afternoon watching 'friends' re-runs and clicking through the topshop site - especially their new 'premium' link on the site. i spotted this gorgeous 1920s-style tiered dress that i can only dream about with my current budget... and then i found this beautiful vintage-style pink lace bra for £16. i've seen this bra on another blog and have searched high and low in my local topshop but to no avail, now it's finally appeared on the site, i might be in with a chance of buying it!!!
might head into town tomorrow and have a nose around the charity shops, i meant to do it yesterday but i was so tired, i just couldn't wait to get home after a look round only a few shops. i don't want to spend too much, but i'm already sorely tempted by an offer in the window of the perfume shop. my favourite perfume ever is 'daisy' by marc jacobs, but its so expensive i've only had one bottle of it. then yesterday, the perfume shop advertised a HUGE bottle of it in the window, in a gift set with shower gel and body lotion, for £39.50! so i'm paying the same amount, for a much larger bottle and the fancy things besides! oh dear, i feel another splurge coming on...
i really shouldn't be spending. i get paid again tonight and then next friday too, and i've got two bigs gigs in a week at the end of the month, so money shouldn't really be a problem. but i've got my december holiday coming up, and christmas too. maybe one more spend-up before christmas won't hurt. ahh who am i kidding?? at the moment it's more like one spend-up a week, let alone an entire season!
i've not decided completely on tonight's outfit, but i'm thinking my new sheer purple blouse, with black skinnies and my beloved ankle boots. i'll try it on later and see - i might just go with a skirt instead, i'm not 100% sure. but now i had better go and rehearse some more, and the advert break of 'friends' is coming to an end... :)
